Todd and Julie founded Empower Education in 2021 with the purpose of empowering children by providing them with access to quality education. Youth are essential to unlocking a better future. Their goal is to offer assistance and direction to those who encounter the most obstacles, especially marginalized groups, to help them realize their complete potential.

Todd and Julie also founded Empower International in 2003 with the purpose of empowering next-generation leaders. In 2003, they left their jobs in the US, sold everything they owned, and moved to Thailand with their two young daughters, Stephanie and Tiffany. Having begun their journey together in 1985, Todd and Julie have influenced people in over 70 countries around the world, and they continue to lead Empower International with a heart to see peoples’ lives transformed for good.

Before moving overseas, Todd and Julie served for 18 years with other organizations. Todd has earned his bachelor's degree in business administration and his master’s degree in religious education. Julie has earned her bachelor's degree in business administration. They hold their professional credentials with Victory Leadership Network in Tulsa, OK.
